PAYING ATTENDEES - TERMS & CONDITIONSAttendance Fee
The fee for non-Members is US$1,195.00 for attendance at the Public Sessions on Monday and Tuesday, 19 and 20 July 1999.
There is a 25% discount ($300) for registrations received by close-of-business on 30 June 1999. This reduces the fee to US$895.00. Included in the fee:

Payment is collected in advance of the conference in US dollars. Payment may be made with the following Credit Cards: American Express, VISA or MasterCard
(If paying by credit card is a problem, please let us know.)The credit card slip and an invoice will be mailed to you to confirm payment and provide you with a receipt. Therefore, it is important we have your full mailing address with your registration.
Note for participants from European Community countries
If you are from a European Community country, please provide your organizations VAT number (Value Added Tax). Otherwise we must charge VAT at the rate of 17.5% on the attendance fee.
Cancellation PolicyAll cancellations must be made in writing either via email or fax to one of The Open Group contacts listed on the Registration Web page.
Cancellations made on or before 12 July 1999 will be accepted, subject to a cancellation service charge of US$50.00. Participants who cancel after 12 July 1999, or who do not attend, are liable for the entire attendance fee. Substitutions may be made at any time. Accommodation A limited number of hotel rooms at the conference venue (Hotel Wyndham Montreal) are available at special Open Group rates, which include a buffet breakfast.21 June 1999 is the cut-off date for room reservations at the special conference rate. After 21 June, rooms may be reserved directly with Hotel Wyndham Montreal, based upon availability and at prevailing rates.
Please note: All guest room reservations must be guaranteed by major credit card.
